A Call to Arms
ECC is winning! Our attendance in service is at an all time high. Statistically churches across America have drop in revenue in the summer ours is sustaining. New partners are joining consistently on Sunday and Tuesday. We have powerful prayer 30 minutes before service. The ECC family is making preparation to move into a new permanent worship facility. God is being glorified!
So I imagine you are thinking, “Pastor, it sounds like we are winning, so why title this letter ‘A Call to Arms’?” Well family, we are winning but I am under a Godly mandate to raise a church of more than conquerors! Yes our attendance is at an all time high but we need to at least quadruple it by the end of the year. We are a debt free church but now is the time for us to manifest also as a rich church. Partners are joining, but since God promised to add to the church daily I am boldly believing for at least 7 people a week. The men are praying before service and I need everyone praying on non service days. Our building is coming because we are confessing it into existence and it will be coming to past soon.
God has called me to cause men, women, and children to experience excellence in life. He has also called you to assist me in that call according to Acts 16:9,
“And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.”
My part is to teach and preach the Word. Live the Word. Love you. I’m doing my part and I’m committed to continuing to do my part until Jesus returns. Your part is to partner. Not religiously partner as another name for member. Members of an organization have no say so in the direction, growth, and success of the organization. They show up, whenever, take part in the activities for that day and then leave, whenever. As children of God we don’t have that right to treat our church as a membership organization. God’s Word says otherwise and as your Pastor I’m holding you to the standard of the Word. Let’s read it.
I Cor. 12 “ 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 25 That there should be no schism F45 in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.”
Eph. 4:16 ”From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
